My favorite analogy for the terrestrial kingdom is the business trip. Sure, you get BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, mac n cheese, giant diet coke and homemade banana pudding. Nice hotel rooms are comfy but there is no hearth or heart of kith and kin. There are always a lot of people around but it is lonely as there is limited contact with loved ones and it is via technology.
I'll endure the night for the promise of light and with the help of Stubb's.
